Captain America: First Avenger Collectible Figurine By Hot Toys!!!
![]() |
Is this unbelievable or what? |
With Captain America: The First Avenger hitting the screens soon, its almost automatic for toy mogul Hot Toys to release some teaser images for upcoming collectible toy.
And they didn't disappoint because they did show the stunning images of their 1/6 scale figurine masterfully sculpted to the image of Chris Evans who plays Steve Rogers / Captain America in the film.
This toy has incredible detail just like previous superhero action figures, but this one looks to be the best of them all. Yes, I would say its even better than the Superman and Green Goblin ones that were already beyond description.
Enough of the talk, and check out more of the shield-throwing Cap toy in his full costume and other accessories after the jump.
That's another one hot toy. I think even with all the markup on the price for this item, this is going to sell pretty good especially with hardcore-collectors.

The Iron Man "Mark 2 Armor" Action Figure From Hot Toys
If you watched Iron Man 2, you definitely remember that scene where Rhodey gets the unused Mark 2 suit and then goes on to get it toe to toe with a drunk Tony Stark who's wearing the red-and-gold armor, right?
Guess what, Hot Toys has that same silver armor in the movies that you can now take to your home, disassemble it (yes, just like what they did in the flick) to see the nerve-wracking details of the armor, and then show it off to your friends who would drool in envy once they see the wonderful piece of Iron Man badassery you have in your hands:
Holy crap. That's one hell of a toy right there. Damn, that's so cool!
Check it out at TOYSREVIL.

Ame-Comi Figures Featuring DC Babes
Never thought that toy companies are crossing over anime and DC heroines in their figurines, and to be honest it doesn't look too good. Ame-Comi can be called a disappointment for me. It just doesn't work out. Tomopop reviews this toy line and they've got some cool and not-so cool photos of DC heroines - including a Japanese version Wonder Woman holding the head of Medusa, a Batman/Spawn incarnate, and a awfully looking Power-Girl that has robotic arms like she was from Mortal Kombat. (Check the complete article here.)
But that doesn't mean that it doesn't have any cool looking anime-comic mashups. Check out more pictures after the jump for some of my favorites from their gallery:

I'm kind of biased on this. I like Supergirl and this sort of Magic Knight Rayearth thing they've got on her. |

Wonder Girl's hippy pants while sporting the curves and rock-hard abs are just cool with me. |

Nothing really special here with Harley Quinn, but it works. |

I don't like Ivy's face here, but I love the detail on her suit and her plants. |

Great take on Lady Steel here. Sporting that big hammer to match with her iron-clad armor. |
