Captain America: First Avenger Collectible Figurine By Hot Toys!!!

Is this unbelievable or what?
With Captain America: The First Avenger hitting the screens soon, its almost automatic for toy mogul Hot Toys to release some teaser images for upcoming collectible toy.

And they didn't disappoint because they did show the stunning images of their 1/6 scale figurine masterfully sculpted to the image of Chris Evans who plays Steve Rogers / Captain America in the film.

This toy has incredible detail just like previous superhero action figures, but this one looks to be the best of them all. Yes, I would say its even better than the Superman and Green Goblin ones that were already beyond description.

Enough of the talk, and check out more of the shield-throwing Cap toy in his full costume and other accessories after the jump.

That's another one hot toy. I think even with all the markup on the price for this item, this is going to sell pretty good especially with hardcore-collectors.

Hot Toys Previews Their James Franco-Inspired "Spider Man 3 New Goblin" Action Figure *UPDATED*

James Franco fans will be delighted as Hot Toys released these photos of their upcoming 1/6 action figure scale of the actor appearing as New Goblin based from his role in SpiderMan 3.

And just like their Superman action figure, the Hong-Kong based company is including tons of other accessories that would make this beast of a "toy" more deadly:
  • a pair of hands each holding a sword and a pumpkin bomb;
  • a pair of forearm armor weapons;
  • full costume as seen in the film;
  • a switchable head with a mask and glasses;
  • three assorted swords and a set of pumpkin bombs;
  • a sword pocket and sheath; and
  • a light up function stand and a figurine stand with nameplate and film logo

That's a lot of accessories right there. Really impressive. But what's more impressive is how they got Franco's face dead-on.

Check out more of the exclusive pictures of this toy after the cut.

Update: You can now pre-order this amazing figurine for $169.99 via Sideshow Collectibles. Take one yours home!

Christopher Reeve Immortalized In Hot Toys' Latest "Superman" Action Figure

This could be the most awesome Superman action figure set that I have seen.

And Hot Toys is bringing us a definite classic back to life in their upcoming release of the said product featuring The Man of Steel himself, molded from the likeness of the quintessential caped wonder of the iconic 1978 film Superman: The Movie: Christopher Reeve.

What an awesome set this is, because not only they made this toy so bad-ass that it looks so eerily real, but the set will also include a pair of three interchangeable hands so Supes can do his camera poses, a special limited edition Kryptonite-necklace that you can hang over the guys' neck just like in the movies, and probably the most impressive of all - an actual Fortress of Solitude stand, diorama-style.

That's not all. According to the Hong Kong based toy company, a portion of the generated sales from this will be donated to the "Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation" , an institution dedicated to finding innovative ways to cure spinal cord injuries and paralysis, founded by Mr. Reeve himself.

Now THAT is something worth buying for a worthwhile cause and what a way to celebrate the life of the "ultimate" Superman actor.
More shots of the incredible action figure after the cut.

Update: For $209.99 you can again believe that a man can fly by ordering this Superman action figure at Sideshow Collectibles.

The Iron Man "Mark 2 Armor" Action Figure From Hot Toys

If you watched Iron Man 2, you definitely remember that scene where Rhodey gets the unused Mark 2 suit and then goes on to get it toe to toe with a drunk Tony Stark who's wearing the red-and-gold armor, right?

Guess what, Hot Toys has that same silver armor in the movies that you can now take to your home, disassemble it (yes, just like what they did in the flick) to see the nerve-wracking details of the armor, and then show it off to your friends who would drool in envy once they see the wonderful piece of Iron Man badassery you have in your hands:

Holy crap. That's one hell of a toy right there. Damn, that's so cool!

Check it out at TOYSREVIL.

Iron Man Art Show from Hot Toys' 10th Anniversary Event

Having the internet is a thing of beauty and it allows you to discover things that you would normally see in a daily basis. Came across a website called tomopop.com, where they showcase and review some of the best and toy creations out there today which designs ranges from anime, cartoons, comic book characters and many more. Its definitely for toy fans and for the young at heart.

So much for the introductions. Tomopop apparently has featured Hot Toys' 10th Anniversary celebration from Tokyo, Japan featuring their custom made Iron Man movie toys and Iron Man statues that vary in design.  Japs really have a knack for creating something unique and they did just that with the Iron Man armor and I dare say people, Tony Stark with their crazy designs.   Man, I wanna have one of those right now.

Take a look at some of my favorites from their gallery after the jump:

Mickey Rourke would surely be happy when he sees this.

Cmon NASA, you gotta make one of these.

Archangel Iron Man.

Looks like a Ninja Iron Man to me with that blade there.

Haha! I told ya' Japs are creative people.

Who wants Iron Man for NASCAR?

Soooo ridiculous. Iconic Bruce Lee jumpsuit and pose + Iron Man = AWESOME

Yup. I told ya' Tony's got a new twist from the start didn't I?

Thanks to Tokyo Hunter for showing these amazing photos.  For the full gallery click here.
