Entertainment Weekly's "The Avengers" Set Photos Featuring Bobblehead ScarJo

We are all excited for the ultimate superhero team up aren't we? Okay. Now, dig on these exclusive set photos from Entertaintment Weekly featuring EVERYBODY.

This looks great, but fuck - what is wrong with Thor's nose (bad photoshopping), Captain America looking awfully confused, ScarJo's bobblehead and Mark Ruffallo with that stare?

Okay, that's pretty cool stuff - everyone together in one room, Chris Evans in that perfect man-out-of-time civilian outfit, and finally Samuel L. Jackson gets to fire a weapon (it took him 4 feature films to do that, shit).

But the best part of this tease are these pictures of the oh so fine Scarett Johansson (whose nude photos were leaked for everybody to see a couple of weeks ago):

Damn. Even the buildings can't resist. ScarJo's causing a lot of explosions all over the place by just standing there. Must be the awesome bum.

Does New 'Captain America: The First Avenger' TV Spot Include Massive Spoilers?

Our lads from ComicBookMovie has this new commercial for the upcoming Cap film. I didn't watch it in full because I read from the comments that it was a BIG spoiler in a way, but I did see two men walking in ice trying to find something.

Now, for those who have read the Ultimates or any recent Cap book (that tells his origin) for that matter, you definitely know who those two might and what the "ice" means.

Again, VIDEO MIGHT CONTAIN MASSIVE SPOILERS so watch at your own risk.

After being deemed unfit for military service, Steve Rogers volunteers for a top secret research project that turns him into Captain America, a superhero dedicated to defending America's ideals.

Captain America throws his shield on July 22 in theaters.

The Latest 'Captain America: The First Avenger' Theatrical Trailer & Poster

Yahoo! Movies has just uploaded another version of the upcoming Cap film starring Chris Evans as the star-spangled super soldier. Its pretty much what we've seen from the first trailer and tv spots, but with a couple of other unseen footages.

And they also got a more "patriotic" poster with the actor unmasked.

Make sense to me, selling his good looks.

You know what I think of this trailer?

Its FUCKING BAD-ASS and got me more excited than seeing Thor, but at the same time I believe that it also SPOILS AN AWFUL LOT. Having read a couple of Cap comic books, especially Mark Millar's Ultimates, I am 100% confident that the train and plane scene towards the end of the video is the ending of the film. (Ice anybody?)

Captain America: First Avenger Collectible Figurine By Hot Toys!!!

Is this unbelievable or what?
With Captain America: The First Avenger hitting the screens soon, its almost automatic for toy mogul Hot Toys to release some teaser images for upcoming collectible toy.

And they didn't disappoint because they did show the stunning images of their 1/6 scale figurine masterfully sculpted to the image of Chris Evans who plays Steve Rogers / Captain America in the film.

This toy has incredible detail just like previous superhero action figures, but this one looks to be the best of them all. Yes, I would say its even better than the Superman and Green Goblin ones that were already beyond description.

Enough of the talk, and check out more of the shield-throwing Cap toy in his full costume and other accessories after the jump.

That's another one hot toy. I think even with all the markup on the price for this item, this is going to sell pretty good especially with hardcore-collectors.

2011 Superhero Film Galore List!

The time is fast approaching for the releases most-awaited comic book movie adaptations and to be honest, I think this year is the biggest of them all because we've got 4 big named characters showing up in latex, spandex, gloves, and a toy hammers.

Marvel is really stepping it up and is continuing their Marvel Cinematic Universe by releasing two of their biggest characters on the silver screen, while DC has finally gave one emerald police his chance to shine. Plus the battle of car transforming robots will continue to wage on for the third time and one of comic's most iconic mutant teams will tell their own beginnings during the 1960s.

Here's the list of movies we've all been waiting for to get our eyes on (more movies after the jump):

(Now I'm wondering how am I going to watch all of these in theaters.. sheesh.)

Thor - May 6, 2011

Our Mjolnir-weilding thunder god's origins will finally be revealed after seeing his hammer at the end of Iron Man 2.

Stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor and a recently knocked-up-by-a-ballet-dancer-but-still-hot Natalie Portman. Directed by Kenneth Branagh.

I think this is better than Marvel's official poster.

X-Men: First Class - June 3, 2011

Another origin story for our favorite mutant team of all time set in the 1960s. Its going to be weird seeing Charles Xavier with a load of hair on his feared telephatic head. Its Wesley Gibson with uber-telekenetic powers baby!

Will star James McAvoy (Xavier), Michael Fessbender (Magneto), January Jones (Emma Frost) and a bunch of other guys that I don't know. Directed by Michael Vaughan.

Green Lantern - June 17, 2011

First flight for the greatest intergalactic emerald cop of all time, Hal Jordan! We will get to see the whole GL team, as well as the big-bad evil entity Parallax as well as the big-headed Dr. Hammond. Jordan conjuring giant green gloves, cannons, guns, and panties would be freaking gorgeous.

Stars Ryan Reynolds as Hal/Green Lantern and the bearer of one of the most-desired cleavages in Hollywood today: Blake Lively as Hal Jordan's love interest, Carol Ferris. Directed by Martin Campbell.

Admit it: this is one hell of a fan-made poster.
Captain America: The First Avenger - July 22, 2011

Yes! The transformation of a frail army reject into a shield-weilding, steroid-veined, all-American kick-ass fighting machine is going to be awesome. And V's (for Vendetta) guy fawkes masked head is going to burn! Hahaha!

Stars Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America and Hugo Weaving as The Red Skull. Directed by Joe Johnston.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon - July 1, 2011

Neil Armstrong finds an alien spaceship filled with Cybertronian robots on the moon and a third war between the Autobots and Decepticons is on its way. (The Neil Armstrong reference is a joke).

Stars Shia LeBeouf as Sam Whittaker our friendly neighborhood robots from another galaxy. Don't even think of Megan Fox. She's out, which is a REAL shame. Directed by Michael Bay.

So there folks, note your calendars and save a lot of money if you're planning to watch all of these guys on your favorite theaters because those dates are not too far away from each other. I'm sure to watch Cap, Thor and GL on the big screen then the rest will be on DVD when available.

And speaking of DVDs - don't you think it would be a GREAT idea if companies would release all four comic book movies in one package? Damn, that would be cool.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World Gets Snubbed At Oscars!

I recently read the nominees for the Best Visual Effects category in the upcoming 83rd Academy Awards which had fairly good movies vying for that particular title (image courtesy of http://oscar.go.com/):

... wait. Something's missing here.

No Scott Pilgrim vs The World? As in nothing? How could that be? This is an effin' travesty!

In case you don't know yet, SPvTW is one of the best comic book movies of 2010 according to the survey conducted by our guys at ComicbookMovie  and a lot of comic book fans agree on that as well. And in my opinion, it certainly had the sickest visual effects that you could ever find in a movie. Seriously. Its like a comic book brought to life, its packed with a lot of badassery, and would certainly give you a dose of that 1UP generated nostalgia since your childhood Nintendo days (for those of you ignorant species out there, 1UP is the best thing ever invented in video game history. Google it). Its just so damn good! Describing it to you right now through words and pictures will never ever do it justice. You gotta get your damn home theater set, sit your ass on a chair and watch it.

Shame on the Academy for snubbing this. the 7 exes will come for ya' niggas!

The story is based on the graphic novel Scott Pilgrim by Brian Lee O'Malley about a teenage Canadian-rocker named Scott Pilgrim who falls in love for "the girl of his dreams (literally)" - delivery girl Ramona Flowers. But little did Scott know that he has to fight Ramona's "7 evil exes" before he is able to date her.  It stars Michael Cera in the lead role and the sizzling-hot Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona. Brandon "Superman" Routh and Chris "Cap" Evans also star in supporting roles as two of the 7 evil exes. (How's that for a cast? Not bad huh.)

So for all its amazing  old school video-game/Nintendo-ish/comic-book inspired CGI that totally blows off  the effort from the guys who created the effects for Iron Man 2, how come this didn't made it on the list? Snubbed? Possibly. And we will never know the reason behind it.

The film didn't garner much attention maybe because of being stereotyped as a spin-off from a non-mainstream comic book/comic book character, and therefore failed at the box office. Anyway, Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera)  isn't as popular as Iron Man (Downey Jr), Inception (Nolan + DiCaprio) or even freaking Alice in Wonderland right (except for comic book junkies)? But it had a lot of positive reviews from critics, made a hell of a lot better on home video, and sort of had a cult following after its release on theaters. And again, THIS MOVIE IS TOO DAMN GOOD FOR ANYBODY TO MISS.

Okay, enough of the B.S. Check out the trailer for this movie below and then watch the DVD. I'm gonna bet that you would want to go on "Eff-You-Mode" after watching it.  (I'm still bitter it wasn't even nominated which makes me wanna hammer somebody now .... like this).

Captain America Film Trailer Debuts At Super Bowl

Finally after hours of refreshing the Yahoo Movie page, I was finally able to get my eyes on the first ever Captain America: The First Avenger trailer which actually showed up on last day's Super Bowl.

Set in World War II, the movie will star Chris Evans as Steve Rogers who volunteers for the government's super-soldier program after being rejected on his first try at being part of the army. He then becomes the genetically enhanced super human to fight for truth and justice - Captain America.

Chris Evans In Full Captain America Costume!!!

Many thanks again to our friends at ComicBookMovie and a user named CBM for bringing us this exclusive picture showing actor Chris Evans in his full star-spangled Captain America garb!

[Click the image for full size]

Now, this is what I call COSTUME. It looks so awesome, bad-ass, great, cool, amazing... whatever you wanna say. This is just absolutely fantastic!  Whoever designed and made the costume should be nominated for an Oscar. I mean it.

Captain America: The First Avenger stars Chris Evans in the lead role and is scheduled to be released on July 22, 2011 in 3D.

Captain America : A First Look At The Movie

Chris Evans (who played the Human Torch in the Fantastic Four movies) was chosen to become the new Captain America in a film titled Captain America: The First Avenger to be released on July 22, 2012. The story is set in the 1940's and tells us how a frail young man named Steve Rogers volunteered  in the Super Soldier program during World War I and  became the hero that we all knew and loved.

Cap is one of my favorite Marvel characters and I've always played him in video games because he's got such cool combos and special attacks. And to have this new live-action film is a great idea by Marvel  to revive the character because obviously the first Captain America movie in the 1990's just sucked. It was horrible. I'm just glad that they are finally going to give Cap some justice this time.

Check out the preview pics after the jump.
