There has been a lot of Top 100's all over the internet, i know and if you ever read one before I'm pretty sure you're getting a little bit tired of it.
But IGN has a pretty cool list of their own top 100 comic book heroes ever, a mixture of some of the "mainstream" superheroes and a little bit of the "indie" characters that you might have never heard of before.
I had a good time reading all of the witty stuff that they put in there which includes some short character history, their greatest (or all-time lowest) moments/highlights, and other reasons why they are the best of the best.
The top 5 might not surprise you anymore because they're pretty much the standard bearers, especially the guy they picked for the #1 spot. I think they made a really good choice. Though the guy at #2 isn't bad either if he we're at the top spot. They're buddies anyway and I do have a mancrush on both of 'em.
