Third "Blade" Anime Trailer... In Japanese

Sorry folks, there are no English subs yet, but even with the Nihonggo, this Blade anime actually looks cool based on these trailers below. It reminds me of Hellsing and the other vampire-themed anime's that kicked some ass. Plus they got Wesley Snipes spot on. Who doesn't like Wesley Fucking Snipes?

Now, if somebody could provide an English translation for this video, that would be great.

Comic Book Babes Go "Ame-Comi" With Santi Casas' Touch

We usually don't see our favorite comic book heroines go "anime/manga" style  nowadays but that doesn't mean that talented artists can't imagine and create their own versions of these ladies.

Take Spanish digital artist Santi Casas who has made several amazing"ame-comi"  renditions of classic DC babes showing their nice curves and super-powered baddasserry in his deviantArt page, in the tradition of DC Direct's Ame-Comi Heroine action figure series.

He's got a clear knack for transforming any character into something ready for a Japanese-animated TV show or film, and hopefully he continues doing these ame-comi illustrations featuring other superheroines. Make sure you bookmark his gallery because I'm sure that this guy will surprise us with more gorgeous work!

Samples of his Power Girl, Wonder Woman, Catwoman, Supergirl and Batgirl goodies after the cut.

New Anime Wolverine Gets A Mullet [Video]

Wolverine finally got his shot at being a Japanese animated character as Animax aired Marvel's newest anime series featuring our beer-drinking, adamantium-laced Weapon X. After Iron Man had his debut a couple of months ago as an anime (which I thought was pretty good), it was time for one of the X-Men's most popular characters to show that he can bring to the scene.

And as you can see folks, he's got a... mullet. Yes, a damn mullet. He's kind of skinny too and clean-shaved, but I kinda forgave that already because I liked the first episode of his new show. I won't delve in to the details of the story but what I can tell you is that the creators are trying to brew up something interesting for Wolverine in this anime: he is not going to have a "walk in the park" despite the complete absence of other super powered mutants as his enemies and that he's got to learn how to use other weapons asides from his adamantium claws like uhm... a wooden sword.

Watch it right now because for sure somebody's gonna take the video off pretty soon. Part 1 of  the first episode is right after the jump:
